I have returned from another great trip with Tofino Expeditions, this time the "Hidden Coast" trip from Loreto to La Paz This was my fourth trip with Tofino Expeditions (two in British Columbia and now two in Baja), each one as consistently good as the last. The organization and running of the trip, the food and the overall experience were terrific. The guides, Marcos and Antonio, were superb; very professional and lots of fun.

I just wanted to say what a fabulous time I had on the Experienced Kayaker trip. You have put together a great program with truly great guides Sergio, Marcos, and Lino. There was never any question we were in good hands with guides who actually knew how to kayak! That may sound odd but Sergio and Marcos seemed passionate about kayaking and teaching skills. I just wanted to send a quick note to give you some feedback on the sea kayak trip in Baja, California. I had such an amazing time and this is largely due to the amazing guides assigned to lead us down the coast. Marcos and Lino did an excellent job of feeding us well (often with fresh fish), teaching us new techniques for wind and wave paddling and pointing out sea life. They were truly professional, and yet approachable and fun. All in all it was a fantastic trip and I would highly recommend your company to my friends.Thanks again.

I wanted to send a brief email to let you know what a fantastic time Susan Sapin and I had on the November 23rd Baja departure. Everything was perfect! Neither of us had been on a trip like this before but I've been receiving the brochures for years and have always wanted to do this. I turned 50 this year so Susan and I left husbands and kids at home and headed out for our adventure.
I also wanted to let you know how fantastic Marcos and Sergio are as guides.......and cooks! You have 2 winners there for sure. They are personable, knowledgeable and very capable. They treated everyone equally and the entire group felt like family by the end of the week. I realize the mix of personalities may not always work out but both Marcos and Sergio have the ability to make these trips work. Hold on to them!
I've told many friends about this trip since my return so hopefully the word will spread into additional bookings for Tofino.

Because you folks thought of everything, we were able to think of nothing--which is a great way to spend a vacation. Your preparation list was so helpful. The food was terrific. I just wanted to let you know what a wonderful time Mike and I had on our kayaking trip. We were on the March 18th - March 25th Baja kayak trip with Sergio Navorro, as our lead guide, and Antonio Monzon Mayoral as our other guide. Not only were the scenery and activities fantastic, but Sergio and Antonio could not have taken any better care of us!!!! We truly lived like kings for a week with Sergio in charge, as Sergio is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and he genuinely loves what he does. I cannot give enough thanks to the guides for making it such an excellent trip.

Just a note to let you know how much we enjoyed our Baja trip of March 19. We have all spent the past week remembering what we did last week, and wondering how the new group is getting on. A sure sign of a holiday we all enjoyed. The guides did a magnificent job getting us through the trip safely and making sure we all had a lot of fun. Snorkeling, lounging in the hot springs, learning new techniques for climbing and just hanging out at the camp were fun, and happy hour and the quality of the meals was an unexpected bonus.
Once again many thanks for a wonderful time. We certainly have no hesitation in recommending the trip to our friends.

I do not have anything but positive comments for the Hidden Coast trip. The guides were great, I cannot image doing anything for 10 days and not having a "damn I' m tired day", however, they never complained and were fabulous.
Better than I expected, more than I imagined, and glad I attended.

It’s Elizabeth, the rookie kayaker from New York City, the one who was full of curious questions just six short weeks ago.
Let me tell you, I did indeed have the time of my life. It was fantastic--I expected the scenery and the physical activity to be extraordinary, but I failed to suspect that the company would be so great.
Please tell Grant and Janice that the guides were A+ tops #1. I felt that they were both totally competent, which made me relax and trust them immediately. They were also both so friendly, and fun. Their cooking was amazing, as was their knowledge of the fish, the birds and the stars in the sky.
The week was amazing. .......It was wonderful to be in a place of no electricity, no phones, no clocks and no money. Hurray!

I went on the "experienced kayakers" trip in Baja that began 3/29, and I absolutely loved it. Wanted to stay. Didn't want to come back. Want to go again.
One of my favorite parts, actually, was the day and a half on either end traveling through Baja by bus. If you recall, I flew in and out of Los Cabos, and had all sorts of non-gringa (which is what made them great) adventures bussing up and down from Loreto. Thanks to you for all of the tips and encouragement that it would be fine. It was. It was a great way to be in Mexico rather than around a bunch of other tourists.

The trip was really great…dolphins, rays and lotso sunshine! You are lucky to have leaders like Sergio and Chelsea. Both were professional, fun-loving and very safety conscious. This was our first sea kayak trip but it won’t be our last!

I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed the above trip. It was awesome!! We saw many whales, dolphins, and bird life. However, the true 'gems' of the trip were without question; Marcos and Sergio. They are huge assets to your company. There was not a time that we felt like the guides were unsure of their decision making. It was their call when to make camp and when to paddle and not paddle, and their decisions were never challenged - we all felt secure in their abilities. Further, not only are they knowledgeable about the surrounding country and wildlife of the region - they are GREAT cooks! As noted below I am a non-seafood eater and was not quite sure what to expect. What a pleasant surprise in that department imagine Thai food, popcorn, and really very good Pina Coladas and Margaritas. All of this combined with the best guacamole I have ever had.
We will without question recommend your trips and in fact are giving thought to doing another trip next year.

What a fabulous trip we had in Baja! Incredible scenery, wildlife, lunar eclipse, shooting stars, whales, wonderful group dynamics. But most of all Jose and Marcos are incredible guides - soulful, joyous, compassionate, experienced, knowledgeable, and just all around really, really nice guys! We were well taken care of.

I’ve just returned from a wonderful mid-winter break paddling in Baja. It was every bit as much fun as last year. The guides were great. They were competent, treated us well, fixed us divine food and provided us with a most memorable time. Somehow or another they even provided us with Blue whale sightings on our last day. As you know I have been involved with kayaking and extended kayak trips ever since I could walk and truly, this trip through your company was fantastic. Not only are they lovely individuals but they have amazing kayak skills, humor and were always concerned with the safety and to me that is by far the most important in this situation.
