I went on the "experienced kayakers" trip in Baja that began 3/29, and I absolutely loved it. Wanted to stay. Didn't want to come back. Want to go again.
One of my favorite parts, actually, was the day and a half on either end traveling through Baja by bus. If you recall, I flew in and out of Los Cabos, and had all sorts of non-gringa (which is what made them great) adventures bussing up and down from Loreto. Thanks to you for all of the tips and encouragement that it would be fine. It was. It was a great way to be in Mexico rather than around a bunch of other tourists.

We want to thank you and your staff for putting together the best trip we have ever been on. We couldn't have asked for anything better. the people we were with were great, the weather was great, the area and the locals were so laid back. We want to tell you about the guides, Sergio and Marcos, those two made the trip. With their help and understanding the whole group became a team and maybe a short-term family. They know the area and plant life , sea life, birds, camping, cooking. oh yea cooking. We had some of the best food of the whole trip right there on the beach.
We have many new friends, lots of pictures, and memories. thank you again and I will keep you in mind when we go to plan another trip.

The vacation was extra good. Thank you for all your help. The guides were calm, competent, knowledgeable and great cooks! I was surprised to get a happy hour each evening. All the food was prepared from scratch and was excellent.
The group we were with was part of what made the trip so extra good. Great people and great guides. One family even brought their 9 year old whom we all enjoyed. The guides made him feel he was on vacation too. They even made special food for him and played UNO. It was great fun. I will recommend Tofino to anyone I know interested in an adventure trip.
Sadly most people think a cruise is a vacation. I'll stick with cruising In kayak.

I have just returned to Montreal after a fantastic trip to the Gwaii Haanas this July. Despite my inexperience with both camping for more than a night at a time and with kayaking, Mike and Melissa, our guides, were more than patient, encouraging, competent and enthusiastic enough to make me feel at ease. I ate extremely well and discovered that a self-described diehard city girl could love camping and paddling! Thanks to the great staff at Tofino!

The guides were excellent - so knowledgeable about the birds and the constellations and the cactus and great cooks too. We had dessert every night! I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed the above trip. It was awesome!! We saw many whales, dolphins, and bird life. However, the true 'gems' of the trip were without question; Marcos and Sergio. They are huge assets to your company. There was not a time that we felt like the guides were unsure of their decision making. It was their call when to make camp and when to paddle and not paddle, and their decisions were never challenged - we all felt secure in their abilities. Further, not only are they knowledgeable about the surrounding country and wildlife of the region - they are GREAT cooks! As noted below I am a non-seafood eater and was not quite sure what to expect. What a pleasant surprise in that department imagine Thai food, popcorn, and really very good Pina Coladas and Margaritas. All of this combined with the best guacamole I have ever had.
We will without question recommend your trips and in fact are giving thought to doing another trip next year.

I’ve just returned from a wonderful mid-winter break paddling in Baja. It was every bit as much fun as last year. The guides were great. They were competent, treated us well, fixed us divine food and provided us with a most memorable time. Somehow or another they even provided us with Blue whale sightings on our last day. Now that was a thrill.
