This is our 25th season of guiding Baja sea kayaking tours and trips in the Gulf of California / Sea of Cortez, a place that Jaques Cousteau called, “the world’s aquarium”. In 1987 when we first started to kayak in Baja we knew that we’d found the perfect counterpoint to the temperate northwest coast. With predictably sunny weather, warm clear water and great wildlife Baja is the best place in North America for a winter kayaking trip.

We operate most of our Baja sea kayaking trips in the Loreto Bay National Marine Park ( Parque Nacional Bahia de Loreto) and over the years we have refined the itineraries based on guest feedback and satisfaction. Every winter the waters around the islands of the Parque Nacional host Blue Whales and Fin whales and our tours often include encounters with these gentle giants as well as other marine mammals. We offer itineraries that cater to paddlers from novice to experienced that are operated in either double or single kayaks. All our kayak adventures are built around exploring and enjoying Baja’s unique ecology. This year come with us and discover for yourself the warmth of Baja, Mexico’s magnificent peninsula.

Since 1988 we’ve operated inspired sea kayaking tours and courses in Haida Gwaii (Queen charlotte Islands) British Columbia, Canada and Baja California, Mexico. We also offer international sea kayak adventures in Brazil,  Italy,  Ha Long Bay in Vietnam, the Galapagos Islands and Patagonia. The vast majority of our trips, both in North America and overseas, include visits to UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

All of our journeys reflect our values of authenticity and conservation. They are crafted to feature the very best of each destination while providing a unique perspective on both place and culture. We are passionate about serving utterly delicious meals prepared with the very best local ingredients with an emphasis on organic foods. Our trips include a satisfyingly diverse range of activities and experiences. We guarantee that you will return from a vacation with us relaxed and rejuvenated.

I went on the “experienced kayakers” trip in Baja that began 3/29, and I absolutely loved it. Wanted to stay. Didn’t want to come back. Want to go again. One of my favorite parts, actually, was the day and...
