Register for both Expedition Skills I and II course in the same season and receive a 10% discount on each course.
Course Cost Includes: All camp meals; expedition kayaks (participants have the option of using their own kayak), paddles and spray skirt; a chart of the course area (yours to keep), navigation tools and safety equipment; group camping equipment (cook gear); group first aid kit; and instruction.
Not Included: Transportation from your home to Port Hardy; hotel accommodation; insurance of any kind; town meals and beverages. Personal clothing, PFD, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, tent, dry bags, mess kit (plate, bowls, cup and utensils) kit items of a personal nature, kayaking safety equipment (GPS, VHF radio, flares ect)*

The trips start and end in Port Hardy on the scheduled dates, see course dates. The group meets on day 1 for an orientation. Day 2 the group is transported to the mainland BC coast where the next 5 days are spent on a multi day expedition progressively developing proficiency in paddling dynamic coastline.
All course itineraries are guidelines and are subject to change at the discretion of the instructors due to weather, curriculum objectives and logistical conditions at the time of the trip.
